these cuban gentlemen, and many others like them, were outside the hotels every day offering rides, guided tours, habanos (cuban cigars), and more to tourists. aggressive salesmen.

i was surprised to see american flags flying anywhere here.
to the left was a very nice upscale looking restaurant amid poverty and modern ruins in old havana.
